Ingredients:

4-5 cups water
3-4 pods green cardimons
a pinch or 5-6 green tea leaves
Sugar to taste
you will also need a tea strainer and a teapot and a tea cozy (even a towel will do).

Directions
Bring your water to a rolling boil, add your cardimons and suagr, let boil for a minute or two.
Take your teapot and rinse out with hot water so it warms up. Depending on how strong you want your tea you can either put your tea leaves in the strainer and pour the hot water over then into the teapot or put the leaves directly into the teapot. Immediately cover your teapot and let stand for a few minutes to let the flavor and color develop.

Remember the longer the tea leaves stay in the tea the stronger and darker it will get.

You can also add a sprig of mint to the teapot to give some flavor, if you want to.

ENJOY

In the summer you can make a large pot and pour into bottles and refrigerate to drink later with crushed ice and mint. Just dont tell your grandmother because she will yell at you that cold and green tea do not go together.
